I love this! It almost looks like an optical illusion - like the pink diamonds are just kind of floating there. Cool!
Thanks Jen, yes that is what attracted me to the patern in the first place. It's not difficult but you can't rush through it either....unless you want to sit a lot with the seam ripper!
A very interesting block. Where the points come together it looks perfect, well done. I look forward to following your progress.
Thankyou. I am trying not to be too OCD if they are slightly off....the trick is not too stare at them too long or you notice things others wouldn't haha
I'm currently working on a lonestar quilt, so I am into all things star right now. This block is great! The center looks like it's swirling.
Lonestar! Always been on my quilty bucket list but every time I do a quilt with these kind of diamonds in them I always say never again and have to do something less stressful LOL
very nice block
Thankyou Sherry it's fun to see them come together, they are quite slow to piece. Thanks for stopping by :)
Wow - this is an impressive block. Well done! Can't wait to see it in a quilt top.Found via WIP Wednesday on Freshly Pieced.
Hey Gnomeangel thanks for calling in, yours is one of the first blogs I followed...love your speak! The quilt top is going slowly I've done 3 more large stars but am taking a break from the crossweaves and bias edges. Makes you loopy!!
Well it is a lovely WIP. My ripper is never to far away either. I think this will be a really great quilt.
I have four in neon colours and I still can never find them when I need them LOL
This is amazing! What is this gorgeous block called?
